Jennifer Clydsdale, Physiotherapist Perth

Jennifer graduated from Sydney University in 1992 with her BSc in Physiotherapy. Following this Jennifer worked in the public health sector in Sydney for 6 years treating patients in intensive care, cardiothorasic (heart and chest) and orthopaedic (bones and muscle) post surgery rehabilitation.

Following this, Jennifer travelled and worked overseas to the UK and NZ working both in private practice and hospital out-patient care as a Senior Physiotherapist. There she focused on muskuloskeletal conditions and patient rehabilitation.

2007 brought Jennifer back to Australia where she moved to Perth and completed her Polstar Rehabilitation Training, which gave her the comprehensive appreciation and understanding of pilates as a rehabilitative method for treating injuries and returning the body to full strength.

She has also completed her Certification as a Strength and Condition Specialist from National Strength and Conditioning Association (USA), is qualified in dry needling and has been tutoring physiotherapy students at the University of Notre Dame (Fremantle) in anatomy since 2009. She also has extensive experience working in the private sector as well as the corporate environment as in Injury Management.

Jennifer is able to treat pre & post operative rehabilitation patients, muskuloskeletal imbalances, correct muscular and postural misalignments and anyone who feels they would benefit from highly specific muscular training. Her treatment approach is patient centred and specific to the individual, she tailors a graded exercise program to each person’s individual needs and abilities to help improve their muskuloskeletal condition.

Outside of work Jennifer likes to be active by hiking, trekking, scuba diving and practicing what she teaches through strength training at the gym.
